General Details Regarding UPSC NDA Recruitment 2022

The following are the current job openings and number of job vacancies in NDA on the basis of categories announced by the union public service commission on 22nd December 2021.

• National Defence Academy – Air Force

(i) Flying – 92 vacancies (including 02 for female candidates)
(ii) Ground Duties (Tech) – 18 vacancies  (including 02 for female candidates)
(iii) Ground Duties (Non-Tech) – 10 vacancies (including 02 for female candidates)

• National Defence Academy – Army 

208 vacancies  (including 10 for female candidates)

• National Defence Academy – Navy

42 vacancies (including 03 for female candidates)

• Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme)

30 vacancies (for male candidates only)

 

Qualification Required for Applying to UPSC NDA Recruitment 2022 :

• For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy.

Desired candidates must be passed 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Moreover, candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

• For Army Wing of National Defence Academy.

In order to apply for the vacancies in army wing of National Defence Academy, candidates must be passed 12th grade education in 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Age Limit  :

The eligible candidates based on age are only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 02nd July 2003 and not later than 1st July 2006. However, the Reserved category candidates from SC, ST, PWD, women and all others will get the upper age limit relaxation as per government norms for the sarkari naukri in NDA.
